On May 20th, 2026, Oddity Paris hosted an evening of contemporary short films curated by @sixteenfilminstitute.

The programme brought together works by Julia Elihu, Elizabeth Haley Anderson, Xiaoxuan Jiang, Max Walker-Silverman, Liz Rao and Juri Kurt, unfolding through a series of distinct cinematic perspectives and narratives.

From the Iranian countryside of In the Garden of Tulips to the Mongolian steppe of Graveyard of Horses, the screening moved across different geographies, emotional states and cinematic languages, creating a dialogue between films that were at once poetic, urgent and deeply human.
